Job summary

Futu Securities International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a senior communications professional to provide strategic counseling for business partners in Hong Kong. You will define and prioritize communications needs and identify opportunities to adapt business strategies through overarching communications programs.

You will nurture relationships with press and journalists, manage content strategy and calendars, and craft compelling materials.

Qualifications

• Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Translation or related discipline.
• Around 8 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, ability to present ideas concisely.
• Experience in finance industry is a plus.

Provide communication strategic counseling to the business partners in the Hong Kong market. Define and prioritize communication needs of the businesses, identify communications opportunities to adapt business needs and develop overarching communications strategies.

Key responsibilities

Develop close relations with the press and journalists who cover relevant territories, as well as maintain/deepen relationship with existing contacts

Develop content strategy, manage content calendar and create compelling content and communications materials

Manage communications in crisis situations

Handle media enquiries and interviews to generate positive coverage that elevate brands

Coordinate and negotiate with PR agencies on events, issues and other activities

Work with company's global and local teams to plan and execute integrated communications campaigns

About you

Degree holder of Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Translation or Business and Finance or related discipline

Around 8 years of experience, preferably in corporate communications or public relations

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, can present ideas and stories in a concise and organized manner

Previous working experience with finance industry is a plus
