Job summary

CHIA HOE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior/Experienced CNC Programmer with 10+ years in CNC programming and precision manufacturing.

The ideal candidate should have aerospace or precision engineering exposure and strong GD&T interpretation skills. Proficiency in Mastercam, AutoCAD, and CAD/CAM software is required. The role involves developing and optimizing CNC programs for complex components, ensuring high quality and adherence to engineering drawings and process standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant CNC programming and manufacturing experience.
• Experience in aerospace and/or precision engineering is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, programming, GD&T, and interpretation of drawings.
• Experience developing and optimizing CNC programs for complex components.
• Proficient in Mastercam, AutoCAD, and CAD/CAM software.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in CNC programming, precision machining, manufacturing, or a related industry.
• Relevant experience in the Aerospace and/or Precision Engineering industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in CNC machining and programming.
• Proficient in Mastercam.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and CAD/CAM software.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T.
• Good understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, tooling selection, cutting parameters, and CNC machine operations.
• Experience in developing and optimizing CNC programs for complex and precision components.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and committed to producing high-quality work.
• Experience working in an aerospace manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
