Job summary

HKEX invites an energetic professional to join our clearing operations team at Exchange Square, Hong Kong. The role focuses on providing reliable operational and administrative support, resolving exceptions, and contributing to ongoing initiatives in a fast-paced market environment.

You will liaise with internal teams and market participants, deliver project tasks including requirements and UAT, and maintain strong service relationships.

Qualifications

• University Degree required, preferably in Finance/Business/Economics or related field.
• 1-2 years’ relevant financial industry experience, preferably in derivatives or clearing operations.
• Strong written and spoken English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
• Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint; Power Automate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support to clearing operations and resolve exceptions swiftly.
• Carry out efficient operational processes to deliver quality services and support new initiatives.
• Liaise with internal teams, external counterparties, and market participants on daily operations and new clearing products/services.
• Deliver project tasks including user requirements and users acceptance tests.
• Establish and maintain operational relationships with participants, delivering service improvements.
• Work shifts including evening shifts and public holidays as required.
