Job summary

Liva Law & Associates in Hong Kong seeks a Civil Litigation Solicitor with 1–4 years' PQE to join our team. You will handle a varied civil litigation caseload and work on Hong Kong arbitration matters, running files from inception to completion with support from senior colleagues.

You will draft pleadings, submissions, witness statements and opinions, and advise clients directly in a bilingual English/Chinese environment. This role offers diverse dispute work within a collaborative firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 1 to 4 years PQE.
• Solid hands-on experience in civil litigation.
• Arbitration experience is a strong advantage.
• Experience in commercial disputes is a plus.
• Able to handle matters on your own, with little supervision.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload of civil litigation across many areas of practice.
• Work on arbitration matters seated in Hong Kong.
• Run your own files from start to finish, with support from senior team members when needed.
• Draft pleadings, submissions, witness statements, opinions and correspondence.
• Advise and take instructions from clients directly.
