Job summary

The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon invites applications for a Nursing Chief to oversee clinical services under the DHC Scheme in Hong Kong. You will lead a multidisciplinary team including nurse, rehabilitation staff, pharmacist and dietitian to implement comprehensive primary healthcare services.

Collaborating with the Medical Consultant to prepare protocols, you will ensure clinical governance, plan manpower and resources, and liaise with the PHCC for progress updates and new service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Holder of valid Registered Nurse practising certificate (Nursing Council of Hong Kong)

Responsibilities

• Oversee provision and development of clinical services under the DHC Scheme
• Lead multi-disciplinary professional service team (Nurse, Rehabilitation, Pharmacist, Dietitian) to implement Primary Healthcare Services
• Prepare protocols for professional services and treatments with Medical Consultant; ensure clinical governance
• Plan manpower and resources with Executive Director to support center operations and primary health service
• Prepare service planning, statistics and progress reports; ensure deliverables of primary health care services
• Liaise with Primary Healthcare Commission (PHCC) for progress updates and coordinate new service implementation
• Coordinate with community healthcare providers to promote public-private partnership in health service provision

Entry Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, a Master's Degree is considered an advantage
  


• Holder of valid Registered Nurse practising certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong
  


• Minimum 10 aggregate years of experience in nursing practice as Registered Nurse and minimum 5 years of management experience within the 15 years immediately prior to the submission of this application
  


• Recognised post-registration training in Community Nursing, Primary Health Care Nursing or Primary Health Care Nursing (DHC module), or equivalent
  


• Passionate in community primary healthcare service and with strong sense of commitment
  


• Proficiency in managing multidisciplinary team, with strong interpersonal, coordination and organisational skills

All candidates of the above vacancies should possess the following abilities :

• Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  


• Proficiency in PC applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams
  


• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, responsible, and trustworthy, with strong interpersonal skills
  


• Effective communication and organisational abilities\


• Complete any other duties assigned by supervisor(s)
