Job summary

Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad is seeking a Customer Due Diligence Officer. Fresh graduates are welcome. The role involves conducting CDD for onboarding and reviews, verifying KYC documents, and engaging customers to obtain missing information within service levels.

Candidates should have a Diploma or higher in Banking/Finance or related field, 1 year banking/finance/compliance experience, and strong English/Chinese (Mandarin) communication. Proficiency in MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Banking/Finance, Business Admin or related.
• 1 year of experience in Banking, Finance or Compliance.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Be a good team-player, proactive, self-motivated and eager to learn.
• Strong communication in English and Chinese including Mandarin.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Carry out CDD for onboarding, periodic and trigger reviews.
• Identify and verify KYC documents and customer data.
• Request missing CDD information from customers within SLA.
• Comply with government regulations and internal policies.
• Perform general office administration tasks.
• Check internal and external documents.
