Job summary

WIN SOURCE is seeking a Category Purchasing Manager to lead key electronic component categories, leveraging your sourcing experience and supplier networks to deliver reliable supply for global customers.

You will drive supplier development, manage complex sourcing projects and collaborate across sales, procurement, and logistics to secure competitive pricing and lead times. This role offers cross-regional collaboration and long-term growth in a global distributor environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electronic components procurement or related supply chain roles.
• Strong product knowledge and supplier networks in key categories.
• Understanding of pricing trends, supply markets and sourcing channels.
• Ability to develop reliable suppliers and secure competitive pricing and lead times.
• Strong negotiation, supplier evaluation and risk management.
• Cross-cultural communication and teamwork skills in an international environment.
• Proficient business communication in English or local language.

Responsibilities

• Category Purchasing: Manage sourcing activities for one or more key electronic component categories by leveraging product knowledge, industry experience and existing sourcing channels.
• Supplier Channel Development: Develop and maintain core suppliers with advantages in pricing, inventory, lead time or supply capability.
• Market Insights & Sourcing Opportunities: Track pricing, inventory, market demand and lifecycle changes to identify valuable sourcing opportunities.
• Critical Sourcing Projects: Handle complex sourcing requirements, shortage materials and EOL components through quotation, negotiation and project execution.
• Supplier Partnership Management: Build stable relationships with manufacturers, authorized distributors, independent distributors and professional channel partners.
• Supply Chain Security & Quality: Focus on product authenticity, traceability, supplier reliability and supply continuity while working with quality teams to manage sourcing risks.
• Global Business Support: Collaborate with sales, procurement and supply chain teams to support key customers and business initiatives.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in electronic components procurement, specialized sourcing or related supply chain roles.
• Strong product knowledge, sourcing channels and supplier relationships in one or more key electronic component categories.
• Good understanding of manufacturers, supply markets, pricing trends and sourcing channels.
• Ability to independently develop reliable suppliers and secure competitive products, pricing and lead times.
• Strong market judgment, commercial negotiation, supplier evaluation and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of electronic component quality requirements, product authenticity, traceability and supply chain risk management.
• Proactive mindset, ownership and strong cross-cultural communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to conduct professional business communication in English or the local language.

Preferred:

• Candidates with strong supplier networks and channel advantages in specific electronic component categories.
• Candidates with experience in international electronic component distributors, semiconductor companies or component trading companies.
• Candidates with experience in complex sourcing, shortage management or cross-regional supplier cooperation.
