Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Card Access System Technician to support Ang Mo Kio and project sites in Singapore. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, installation, upgrading, testing, and commissioning of card access systems, ensuring reliability and uptime.

Training is provided for newcomers; travel to customer sites is required. Overtime and standby duties may be required, with a 2-year renewable/convertible contract and a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline
• Candidate without experience may apply as comprehensive training will be provided
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, or low-voltage systems will be an advantage
• Hands-on, responsible, and willing to learn with a positive attitude
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Willing to travel to customer sites for maintenance and installation works
• Willing to perform overtime and standby duties when required

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting of Card Access Systems
• Attend to system breakdowns, fault diagnosis, and rectify hardware and system issues promptly
• Replace defective components and devices to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime
• Carry out installation, upgrading, testing, and commissioning works for new systems and Additions & Alterations (A&A) projects
• Assist in basic system configuration, programming, and functional testing of newly installed or upgraded equipment
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) according to maintenance schedules and service standards
• Prepare and maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and related documentation
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, company procedures, and site requirements at all times
• Provide technical support and respond to customer service requests when required
