Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Bilingual Cantonese Psychiatrist on a remote contract to support AI model training with culturally nuanced clinical content. The role requires expert psychiatric evaluation, documentation, and bilingual communication in Cantonese and English.

You will contribute to interdisciplinary projects, ensure ethical handling of sensitive case material, and help develop teaching materials and case studies for research and education, with a commitment of 10-40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• MD/MBBS degree with completed psychiatry residency and valid medical license.
• Native fluency in Cantonese and advanced English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate complex psychiatric case studies for AI model training.
• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and provide expert annotations reflecting Cantonese practices.
• Produce documentation and analyses in Cantonese and English with cultural/clinical accuracy.
• Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance model understanding of psychiatric concepts.
• Apply ethical decision-making in review of sensitive case content and maintain confidentiality.
• Contribute to bilingual frameworks for accurate psychiatric information exchange.
• Offer expert feedback on analytical methods used by AI in mental health contexts.
