Job summary

One World Global Services LLC in Hong Kong is seeking experienced interpreters for Cantonese-English interpretation. This is a fully remote role with a clear schedule, offering either full-time or part-time work after onboarding.

The position requires high English proficiency and bilingual ability, along with strong communication, listening, note-taking and memory skills, and a willingness to engage in healthcare terminology training.

Qualifications

• Proficiency/bilingual/native level of English and Cantonese
• Interpreting experience desirable
• High emotional intelligence and tolerance of diverse cultures
• High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally, acting according to the interpreter’s code of conduct
• Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the healthcare industry (healthcare and medical specifically)
• Go into internal professional training
• Communicate and report to your team leader
