Job summary

Rectrix Group Limited in Hong Kong seeks a Sustainability Lead to drive the carbon neutrality roadmap and campus initiatives. You will translate targets into measurable outcomes across energy, waste, and procurement, collaborating with senior leaders and academic units.

The role oversees governance and ESG disclosures (TCFD/GRI/CDP), LEED/BEAM certifications, and living labs, while engaging staff and students through GreenCoin and related finance initiatives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in corporate sustainability, energy management, or built environment decarbonisation.
• 5+ years in a leadership role within a large portfolio (university campus, property, or corporate real estate).
• Proven track record of delivering double-digit percentage emissions reductions at portfolio scale.
• Strong knowledge of LEED/BEAM certifications and energy modelling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the carbon neutrality roadmap toward the 2045 target.
• Deliver measurable emissions reductions with portfolio-wide energy and waste optimizations.
• Identify, fund, and execute decarbonisation projects and green finance opportunities.
• Establish governance structures and publish ESG reporting aligned with global standards.
• Drive campus engagement and behavioural change programs (GreenCoin, recycling, waste reduction).
• Collaborate with academic units and external partners on living lab projects.
