Job summary

Unicorn-Stores- is seeking a Merchandiser/Sourcing professional to drive product selection and supplier relationships in the food category. You will forecast inventory needs, set budgets, and lead junior staff to meet business goals.

The role requires strong negotiation, analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English and Chinese is preferred, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Degree in Merchandising/Marketing or related discipline.
• 2–4 years sourcing experience; preferably in Food category.
• International trade experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication/negotiation skills.
• High business sense with strong analytical skills.
• Able to work under fast-paced environment; results-driven.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; good Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Source potential suppliers and select new products to fulfill market needs

• Liaise with suppliers on products ordering, pricing and shipment issues

• Analyze market trends, sales performance, revenues and current inventory levels to forecast inventory needs and determine purchase quantities

• Formulate OTB budget and merchandise strategy, selection, launch plan to achieve the company business objectives

• Supervise junior staff to facilitate team members to achieve the business goal

• Provide support on new business initiatives and any ad hoc tasks assigned
  

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Merchandising/Marketing or related disciplines

• 2-4 years of working experience in sourcing, preferably in the Food Category

• International trade experience is preferred

• Strong leadership with good communication skills and negotiation skills

• High degree of business sense with strong analytical skills

• Result-oriented, Self-motivated and able to work under fast pace environment

• Good command of spoken & written English and ChineseProficient in Excel and PowerPoint
