Job summary

Ovolo Group Limited in Hong Kong is looking for a Butler Service & Lifestyle Manager who brings energy, attention to detail and a willingness to learn. This role focuses on delivering exceptional hospitality and personalised guest experiences in our dynamic hotel environment.

You will oversee butler service operations, greet VIP guests, arrange travel, dining and entertainment, and collaborate with all departments to maintain high standards and guest confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and genuine fondness for people.
• Personality over experience.
• Good command of English, written and spoken.
• Mandarin and Cantonese are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations and ensure smooth butler service per Ovolo standards.
• Conduct show rounds around the hotel for guests and inquiries.
• Coordinate requests: airline reservations, transport, bookings, entertainment.
• Interact with guests and team in a friendly, respectful manner.
• Promote high service levels and prompt responses to requests.
• Ensure staff are familiar with facilities and room types offered.
• Encourage feedback and maintain guest history records.
• Meet and welcome regular and VIP guests and build rapport.
• Maintain guest data accuracy for in-house and reservations.
• Maintain relationships with departments and support as needed.
• Monitor grooming standards and staff presentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with standards.
• Model professional conduct and positive brand representation.

Job description

We are looking for a Butler Service & Lifestyle Manager who is passionate for hospitality, with a genuine fondness for people. We are not looking for years of experience but rather someone who has bundles of energy, is detailed in approach, positive attitude and is willing to be shown to learn and grow within the company.

The Gig

• Supervise operations and assist with duties as required, ensuring the smooth running of butler service according to Ovolo standards and procedures.
• Conduct show rounds around the hotel for hotel guests, clients and anyone who is making enquiries
• Oversee all requests from guests, including airline reservations, ground transportation, hotel accommodation, restaurant bookings and entertainment plans
• Interact with guests and team members in a friendly, respectful and positive manner
• Promote high levels of service and prompt, efficient and polite responses to all requests
• Ensure that the Butler Service/Front Office team is familiar with hotel facilities and room types offered to guests
• Encourage feedback from our guests, to update and maintain guest history records, enabling us to anticipate the needs of our guests
• Personally meet and welcome regular guests and VIP guests and ensure rapport is established
• Ensure that guest data (in house and reservations) is accurately recorded and complete
• Maintain good working relationships with all departments and oversee and assist other departments as and when needed
• Monitor personal presentation of butler service/front office team members and ensure grooming standards followed
• Ensure staff respect guest confidentiality and follow the company and legal standards
• Maintain high standard of personal hygiene and personal presentation when on duty that carries the presence of a manager and sets an example to employees
• Follow Ovolo procedures including conduct and performance standards and service expectations
• Always conduct yourself in a professional manner that reflects the company in a positive way demonstrating shiny happy people all around

Requirements

• A passion for hospitality, with a genuine fondness for people
• Personality is more important than experience
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Good command of Mandarin and Cantonese will be an advantage
