Job summary

Ekimetrics is seeking a talented intern in Hong Kong to join our global data science and AI solutions team. You will work on challenging projects for international clients, collaborating in small consultant teams on multiple engagements and delivering end-to-end data-driven recommendations.

Ideal candidates are final-year students in statistics, economics, or related fields with strong data and modelling skills and a passion for consulting.

Qualifications

• Final year student preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related analytical field.
• Passion for data, statistics or applied mathematics; familiarity with modelling/optimization.
• Experience with statistical software such as R, Python, etc.
• Consulting interest and ability to work with clients.
• Excellent written and spoken English; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work on challenging data science and AI projects for international blue-chip clients.
• Collaborate in teams of 2–5 consultants on 1–3 projects simultaneously.
• Gather and analyze data, build statistical models, translate insights into strategic recommendations.
• Present results to clients, including C-suite stakeholders, and be mentored to grow professionally.
