Hogan Lovells Cadwalader is seeking a proactive professional to support the Corporate & Finance practice in Hong Kong. You will work with Partners and the regional M&B lead to manage proposals, credentials, and presentations in Chinese and English.

You will coordinate events, directory submissions, client development programs and maintain marketing collateral and key databases. Strong English and Mandarin, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; emphasis in business, marketing or law preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The Candidate Will Support The Partners Of The Corporate & Finance Practice Group In Hong Kong And Report To The Regional Marketing And Business Development Lead For C&F Based In Singapore. The Successful Candidate Will Work Collaboratively With Local, Regional, And Global M&BD Teams To Support All Aspects Of The Business Development And Marketing Function, Including

• Business Proposals – This will be a significant aspect of the role. Working closely with the M&BD Manager and the partners to manage all aspects of the proposal process including drafting credentials statements, proposals, and presentations, in Chinese and English.
• Event Management - Coordinating a broad range of events including panel and speaking engagements, substantive seminars and conferences, social events and receptions.
• Directory Submissions - Coordinating submissions and interviews for various legal directories, league tables, awards, and other surveys.
• Client Development - Assisting the M&BD Manager in running the regional client development programme.
• Collateral Management - Maintaining a full suite of marketing collateral, including office and practice profiles, lawyers' profiles, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Information Maintenance - Ensuring that key information systems such as the credentials database, experience database, CV database, photo library, website, and InterAction are kept up-to-date.
• Ad-hoc projects - Assisting with special projects as required including client, industry, and market research.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in business administration, marketing or law.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in business development and marketing, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Excellent personal communication skills and strong organizational abilities.
• High attention to detail, including exceptional proofreading skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure, independently, and as part of a team
• Consistent positive attitude with a "can do" mentality
• Proven discretion and trust in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
• Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and ability to learn new IT skills such as InterAction, iPublish, pitch system, and other database systems.
• Spoken English and Mandarin, and written English and Chinese are essential.
