Job summary

ioTech Solutions is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join its Solution Delivery team in Hong Kong. You will bridge business strategy and technology, turning objectives into clear requirements, user stories, and specifications while ensuring value delivery.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, delivery teams, and vendors, monitor scope and governance, and validate solutions with testing teams to meet business criteria on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in Solution Delivery within financial services.
• Experience with Asset Servicing environments is preferred.
• Experience with Waterfall or hybrid methodologies and delivering end-to-end solutions.
• Strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This pivotal role sits at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution, ensuring that operational objectives are met through robust, high-quality technology solutions.

What you'll do

• Facilitate requirements gathering workshops to elicit and document complex functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translate high-level business objectives into clear user stories, process flows, and detailed technical specifications.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical delivery teams, and external vendors.
• Monitor project progress, manage scope changes via formal governance, and ensure deliverables are aligned with budget and time constraints.
• Partner with testing teams to validate that solutions successfully meet the defined business criteria prior to implementation.

The experience and skills needed

• At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or within a Solution Delivery function in the financial services industry.
• Subject matter expertise within Asset Servicing environments.
• Proven track record of managing end-to-end solution lifecycles using Waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to bridge communication gaps between technical (SDLC) and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and strong documentation capabilities.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese.
