Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced senior operations leader to set overall branch operations, ensure alignment with bank policy and procedures, and drive performance toward business targets while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in economics, business, finance or related fields, 9+ years in banking, and excellent English communication, leadership and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in economics, business administration, marketing, finance and accounting or banking related fields.
• At least 9 years experiences in the banking industry, with good team management and banking management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, strong leadership, networking, analytical and presentation skill including story-telling ability

Responsibilities

• Set objectives, success measures, and policy for Hong Kong branch to be aligned with bank’s strategies and ensure achievement goals and objectives.
• Lead the business team to conduct customer due diligence, collect and update customer related information, strictly enforce anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing related regulations, identify suspicious transactions in time and complete suspicious transaction reports, and conduct pre-analysis of customer qualifications.
• Propose development plan for business expansion of branch align with bank’s strategy and policy as well as local laws and regulations.
• Review overall capacity, organization structure, process, system development and career development to effectively serve business needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the local institution and government office.
• Coach and support subordinates on developing competencies/career opportunities
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Bank.
