Job description

Qualifications and Requirements for Works Supervisor II (Construction):

(i) A Certificate in Building Studies, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic/polytechnic university/technical institute, or an equivalent qualification as required by the Director’s Representative.
(ii) Level 2 or above in both Chinese Language and English Language in the HKCEE (or Grade E in Chinese and English Language (Syllabus B) in HKCEE before 2007), or equivalent qualifications.
(iii) Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
(iv) Positive working attitude and a service-oriented mindset.

Main Duties:

• Supervise daily site works.
• Perform inspections, monitor progress, and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Prepare simple reports and assist with technical documentation.
• Work at assigned locations and travel between sites as required.
• May work irregular hours, weekends, or public holidays (time-off in lieu may be arranged).

Working Hours:

• 45 hours per week (Monday–Sunday, excluding lunch breaks).

Salary and Benefits:

• Monthly take-home salary based on Government Master Pay Scale (MPS Points 9–12), depending on qualifications and experience.
• Annual pay adjustment subject to satisfactory performance.
