Job summary

Mannings, the leading health and beauty chain in Hong Kong with over 340 stores, is seeking a Category Manager to drive category growth and long-term partnerships with key vendors. You will lead the development of category plans, coordinate with marketing on promotions, and optimize store layouts to maximize sales and margin.

Ideal candidates have at least 7 years in category or key account management in FMCG, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and bilingual English/Chinese abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG category management is essential.
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with vendors to build long-term partnerships.
• Develop category plans including launches, promotions and marketing plans.
• Coordinate with marketing for promotional events aligned with selling plans.
• Optimize store layouts, promotions and displays to maximize sales.
• Manage margins, price controls and profitability.
• Lead stock levels and markdowns to maintain product availability.
• Develop and coach the category management team to be customer-focused.
