Job summary

Feather and Bone is seeking a skilled Barista to join our front-of-house team in Hong Kong. You will prepare a full espresso menu, pour-overs, teas, and cold beverages to exact specs, and assist with table service orders while maintaining a pristine drinks bar.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of high-volume cafe experience, strong espresso and milk-texturing knowledge, and excellent English and Chinese language skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of barista experience in a high-volume café or restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
• Punctual and able to work quickly during peak breakfast/lunch hours.
• Team player with good communication and collaboration with FOH/BOH.
• Proficient English and Chinese reading/speaking; Putonghua is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee orders for table service accurately and efficiently.
• Share coffee offerings, seasonal specials, and menu pairings with guests.

• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards.

We are looking for a skilled, passionate Barista to join our front-of-house team.

What You'll Do

Prepare and serve a full menu of specialty espresso drinks, pour-overs, teas, and cold beverages to exact specifications.

Prepare coffee and beverage orders for table service accurately and efficiently.

Share with guests on our coffee offerings, seasonal drink specials, and menu pairings.

Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked drinks bar throughout the shift.

Perform routine calibration on coffee grinders, espresso machines, and brewing equipment.

Handle cash and card transactions at the register when taking counter orders.

Adhere to strict health, safety, and sanitation standards.

What We're Looking For

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a barista in a high-volume café or restaurant setting.

Skillset: Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming/texturing techniques, and basic latte art.

Punctuality & Speed: Ability to work quickly and accurately during high-volume breakfast and lunch hours.

Team Player: Great communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with FOH and BOH staff.

Flexibility: Availability to work schedule and different tasks as needed.

Language: Excellent spoken and reading of English & Chinese, Putonghua will be an absolute advantage.
