Job summary

Ping An Bank Hong Kong Branch is seeking an Enterprise Architect to translate business strategy into scalable system architectures across retail, corporate and financial markets. You will design end-to-end solutions, drive capability reuse, and lead the consolidation of legacy platforms with a focus on regulatory compliance and risk controls.

The role includes coordinating with Head Office, steering architecture reviews, and mentoring architects while evaluating new AI/LLM pilots to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Information Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of IT experience in banking or large financial institutions.
• 5+ years as an architect with enterprise-level architecture experience across systems, departments and domains.
• Proven ownership of the full journey from business strategy → system placement design → target architecture → transition architecture → evolution roadmap.
• Understanding of regulatory expectations on technology architecture and risk & compliance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Translate business strategy to system architecture and develop a 3–5 year evolution roadmap.
• Identify breakpoints and bottlenecks across front, middle and back office; design integration solutions.
• Consult Head Office architecture team and represent the branch in reviews.
• Drive the buildup of shared capabilities to reduce siloed builds and consolidate legacy systems.
• Evaluate AI/ML use cases in banking from a business-value perspective and lead pilots.
