Seamatch Asia Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to lead and drive banking IT projects from requirements through delivery. You will coordinate design, development and testing, manage stakeholders, and ensure timely, high-quality solutions while mentoring junior analysts.

The role requires a degree in IT or CS and 1-5 years in project management, with strong communication in English and Chinese. Banking domain experience is a plus.

Formación

• Degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines.
• 1-5 years solid project management experience.
• Experience designing and managing sizable banking projects is a plus.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently under pressure and willing to learn.
• Self-motivated and adaptable to changes.
• Proficiency in both Chinese and English; Mandarin is an advantage.

Lead, manage and implement IT projects to ensure the timeliness and quality of deliverables. You will be responsible for system design, development and support of application systems, managing project processes, documentation, progress reporting, status meetings and escalation. You will work closely with users and vendors for system requirement analysis, effort estimation, design, development, implementation and testing on banking projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and implement IT projects to ensure the timeliness and quality of deliverables
• Manage system design, development and support of the application systems
• Manage project processes, documentation, progress reporting, status meeting and escalation effectively
• Work closely with users and vendors for system requirement analysis, effort estimation, design, development, implementation and testing on banking project
• Identify dependencies and potential risks across project, take measure to resolve issues and mitigate risks
• Manage change control in different stages throughout the project life cycle
• Troubleshoot problems and propose recommendations to resolve issues, and liaise with developers on fixing and resolving technical issues
• Liaison and coordinate effectively with both internal and external parties for system integration design

About you

• Degree or above with major in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
• 1-5 years solid project management experience
• Proven track record of designing, running, and managing sizable banking projects is a plus
• Strong presentation, negotiation, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently, under pressure and willing to learn
