Job summary

Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. in Hong Kong seeks a diligent Bancassurance Compliance & Sales professional to ensure regulatory compliance, support audits, and improve sales workflows.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in bancassurance or life insurance brokerage, IIQE exams preferred, and strong English/Chinese communication with MS Office proficiency. The incumbent will coordinate with internal and externals to promote compliant sales programs.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in any discipline, preferably in insurance, banking and finance.
• Minimum 3 years of bancassurance / life insurance broker / IFA experience.
• IIQE Papers I, III and V preferred.
• Product and compliance knowledge in bancassurance.
• Organized, responsible with good interpersonal skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with legislation and guidelines pertaining to products and providers, and establish robust controls and procedures.
• Assist in facilitating internal and regulatory audits on submission of data or inquiries regarding matters related to products or providers.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to formulate the logistics and workflow to enhance sales efficiency.
• Assist the department to implement sales and marketing programs such as marketing promotions, seminars, sales incentives etc.
