Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) is seeking experienced professionals to join the Operations Risk Governance team. The role focuses on governance, data analysis, and project-driven improvements to ensure sound controls across the organisation, with strong emphasis on risk management and policy implementation.

Ideal candidates have 5–8+ years of relevant experience, a finance or business degree, and excellent English communication skills; Cantonese/Putonghua proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial markets and operational risk management is preferred.
• Strong business ethics and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proven project management and cross-stakeholder collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist to establish and maintain divisional risk and controls governance framework.
• Support streamlined business processes and identify efficiency improvements.
• Review key controls, identify weaknesses, and propose corrective actions.
• Measure and communicate impact of initiatives using data analytics, scorecards and reports.
• Standardise KRIs and risk dashboards for proactive decision-making; track risk events and perform root cause analysis.
