Job summary

Bank of Singapore seeks a detail-oriented AVP to join the Monitoring and Assurance team in Hong Kong. You will conduct surveillance reviews of investment transactions to ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance, and help automate workflows for stronger risk management.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in private banking or risk roles, with HKMA/SFC knowledge and strong analytical skills. Collaboration across teams and clear reporting are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in private banking, investment monitoring, compliance, or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of HKMA/SFC regulations and expectations in Hong Kong.
• Experience in transaction surveillance or business controls.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance reviews and monitor investment transactions for risks and regulatory compliance.
• Develop advanced surveillance methodologies and sampling techniques.
• Prepare surveillance reports communicating findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Lead initiatives to automate surveillance workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Support internal audits and regulatory examinations with data and explanations.
• Assist investigations by applying surveillance techniques where needed.
