Job summary

Rise Associates Asia Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced finance professional to manage proprietary trading ledgers, perform daily and monthly reconciliations, and execute end-to-end monthly closings and consolidations.

The role requires a CPA and 5–8 years of accounting/finance experience in a Big 4 or securities firm, with deep HKFRS/IFRS knowledge and proficiency in front-to-back trading systems and ERP platforms. Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA credential or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of combined accounting/finance experience in a Big 4 firm or securities firm.
• Deep knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS standards and trading instruments; product valuation skills are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with front-to-back trading systems and ERP platforms; advanced Excel skills.

Job description

Manage proprietary trading ledger entries, perform daily/monthly reconciliations, and execute end-to-end monthly closing and consolidation workflows.

Draft financial and regulatory reports for Head Office and PRC regulatory authorities; deliver internal performance and financial analysis reports.

Design and implement workflow automation to enhance operational efficiency; assist with finance-related system upgrades and financial due diligence.

Analyze accounting, tax, and financial impacts of organizational restructuring; coordinate with internal and external auditors.

Partner with internal business units to facilitate business development initiatives and operational adjustments; perform ad-hoc finance tasks as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional CPA credential (or equivalent).

5 to 8 years of combined accounting/finance experience within a Big 4 firm or a securities firm.

TDeep knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS standards and proprietary trading financial instruments (product valuation skills are an advantage).

Hands-on experience with front-to-back trading systems and ERP platforms; advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.

Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (written and spoken); strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive under pressure in a team environment.
