Title: Private Equity Investment Professional

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Private Equity Investment Professional (Korean or fluent speaker) to join our investment team. This is a full-time position based in Hong Kong, and in this role, you will be responsible for all-round PE Fund of Fund product (across Primaries, Secondaries and Co-investments) management, include but not limited to private equity deal sourcing, due diligence and investment management, as well as client reporting and fundraising support. Your fluency in Korean and English will be essential for this role.

Primary Responsibilities

• Sourcing and identifying promising private equity investment opportunities across Primaries, Secondaries and Co-investments, in line with fund strategy and investment criteria
• Conducting comprehensive financial analysis, market research, and due diligence on potential investment targets
• Preparing investment memorandum and presenting to the Advisory Board and Investment Committee
• Developing, updating and preparing marketing materials such as pitch books, market outlook, performance reviews, etc
• Liaising with Korean stakeholders in Headquarters
• Portfolio monitoring and maintenance including cash flow management, fund audit and credit facility related matters, etc

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of relevant experience. Prior fund of funds or end LP experience is preferred, though not required, and broader investment experience will be considered
• CFA/MBA or similar qualification is preferred but not required
• A professional presence coupled with relationship skills to interact effectively with clients, general partners and colleagues at all levels, in Korean and English languages
• The ability to work independently while operating within a team
• A willingness to establish a position and confidence of convictions as it relates to investment decisions
• Intellectual curiosity, desire to build a career in private equity industry and forward thinking
• Maturity, a self-starter with a desire and ability to work in a lean team while managing a wide range of responsibilities
