Job summary

Shinhan Securities Asia Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Private Equity Investment Professional (Korean Speaking) to own end-to-end responsibilities across Primaries, Secondaries, and Co-investments within our PE FoF strategy. You will source, evaluate, and monitor investments, conduct detailed due diligence, and prepare IC memoranda for decisions.

You'll coordinate with our Korea headquarters and global GPs, support investor relations, and manage client reporting and marketing collateral.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of relevant buy-side or investment experience.
• Korean and English fluency (written and spoken) is essential.
• CFA or MBA is an advantage.
• Strong analytical rigor, financial modeling expertise, and ability to manage complex deal workflows independently.
• Experience with PE Fund of Funds or end-LP platforms is preferred.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills to manage GP, client and executive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and track private equity opportunities across Primaries, Secondaries, and Co-investments.
• Conduct detailed quantitative and qualitative due diligence, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research.
• Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the Advisory Board and Investment Committee.
• Coordinate with headquarters in Korea and liaise with GPs and institutional partners.
• Prepare marketing collaterals, pitch books, and performance updates for clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee portfolio monitoring, cash flow management, fund audit coordination, and client reporting.
