Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Associate Project Manager to assist project management resources with key activities, including communication, change management, and delivering on-time, on-budget project deliverables that meet client scope and quality requirements. The role follows AVI-SPL project management principles and offers growth toward a Project Manager position.

Qualifications

• Experience in an assistant Project Manager or coordination role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF software.
• Ability to meet project objectives and manage tasks.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites.
• Full working rights in Hong Kong; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Learn and comply with AVI-SPL standard processes within the AVI-SPL Operations Playbook, utilizing tools approved and provided by AVI-SPL.
• Review contract documents for each project including scopes of work, drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
• Manage project team tasks and milestone activity.
• Facilitate discovery and documentation during internal project kick-off meetings as needed.
• Participate in external project kick-off meetings with stakeholders and internal resources.
• Manage internal and external project communication and documentation through accurate files and records.
• Respond to customer communications regarding problems or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Compile job progress reports and escalate issues as needed.
• Review daily site progress reports and address needs identified.
• Assist in equipment requests, distribution and shipping through appropriate processes.
• Assist management through change order processes following AVI-SPL procedures.
• Deliver quality analysis reports of internal resources and subcontractors.
• Ensure closeout/as-built documentation is stored properly for service or future reference.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers with focus on on-time delivery, quality and responsiveness.
• Aim to achieve AVI-SPL Net Promoter Score goals.
