Job summary

Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong is seeking an in-charge Medical Technologist to lead a bench, section, or Core Laboratory shift in clinical pathology. You will conduct tests, ensure quality control, and participate in instrument evaluation, while training laboratory staff and handling shift/on-call duties as needed.

The role requires a degree in Biomedical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science, and registration with the Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologist Board.

Qualifications

• Quality control of routine and special medical laboratory tests.
• Provide training to laboratory staff.
• May be required to work shifts and perform on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Be in-charge of a bench, a section or a Core Laboratory shift service.
• Conduct laboratory testing and exercise quality control on routine and special medical laboratory tests and examinations.
• Participate in method and instrument evaluation.
• Provide training to laboratory staff.
• Any other duties as assigned by hospital or laboratory senior management.
