Job summary

CBRE Advisory Hong Kong Limited is seeking a seasoned valuation professional to generate and execute a broad range of property valuations across hotels, industrial, and retail sectors. You will lead due diligence, synthesize market data, and provide clear investment insights to clients.

Senior candidates may mentor a team of valuers and researchers, guiding high-quality work and professional development while building strong client relationships and delivering timely advice.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic qualifications, such as a degree in Surveying, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications, such as RICS, HKIS, or equivalent, are preferred
• Proven experience in property valuation, preferably with exposure to hotel assets and hospitality-related valuations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data and provide insightful recommendations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in both English and Cantonese, with Mandarin language skills an advantage

Responsibilities

• Generate and execute a range of valuation assignments, including property appraisals, market studies, and investment analysis for various asset classes such as hotel, industrial, and retail properties.
• Maintain a strong attention to the due diligence process, ensuring that all valuation reports are supported by comprehensive research and analysis.
• Serve as the primary contact point for client inquiries, addressing questions regarding valuation methodologies, the validity of comparables used, and the rationale behind conclusions or opinions.
• For more senior roles, lead and manage a team of valuers, researchers, and junior staff in conducting valuation tasks. Provide mentorship, coaching, and training to team members to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality work and develop professionally.
• Take on any other assignments as directed by the senior management team, contributing to the overall success and growth of the valuation and advisory division.

Maintain a strong attention to the due diligence process, ensuring that all valuation reports are supported by comprehensive research and analysis. This includes verifying data, examining market trends, and synthesizing information to deliver accurate and timely advice to clients.

Serve as the primary contact point for client inquiries, addressing questions regarding valuation methodologies, the validity of comparables used, and the rationale behind conclusions or opinions. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and encourage repeat business.
