Qualifications

• HK-qualified lawyer with Practising Certificate
• Preferably 3+ years PQE in human rights or related areas
• Strong written and spoken English; Chinese a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct advocacy in Hong Kong Courts and Tribunals
• Perform legal research and case preparation
• Collaborate with team and external stakeholders to pursue strategic litigation

Public Interest Lawyer – Associate/Senior Associate

We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate/Senior Associate who has a genuine interest in human rights and a good knowledge of relevant human rights law.

You will be a Hong Kong qualified lawyer with a current Practising Certificate and will preferably have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.

Requirements for the role include, but are not limited to:-

• Experience in any of the areas of law practised by Daly & Associates, including judicial review
• Ability to conduct your own advocacy in the Hong Kong Courts and Tribunals
• Innovative thinking, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively with both team members and external stakeholders
• Legal research and an interest in strategic litigation
• Good client management skills and confidence in working with clients from diverse backgrounds
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and preferably Chinese (a further language would be beneficial)
• Proficiency in PC applications, including Word and Excel
