Job summary

TUV SUD is seeking a detail-oriented chemist to join our manufacturing and testing team in Hong Kong. You will prepare samples using digestion and extraction methods, perform chemical analyses per SOP, maintain analytical instruments, and analyze data to report results.

Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 and accreditation requirements is a plus. A Higher Diploma/ Degree in Chemistry or related field is required, with hands-on instrument experience being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma/ Degree holder in Chemistry or related discipline.
• Relevant working experience in chemical testing or chemistry related industry is an advantage.
• Good understanding in quality and safety requirements in chemical laboratories.
• With hand on experiences in operating and performing maintenance for instruments: (1) ICP-OES, (2) UV-VIS, (3) GC-MS, (4) HPLC-MS is an advantage.
• Hardworking, self-motivated and a good team player.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Test Engineer.
