Job summary

Hong Kong Parkview is seeking a capable property maintenance professional to oversee electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring reliable and cost-effective operation across residential and carpark facilities.

The role involves supervising technical teams, coordinating with contractors on chiller plant work, and supporting fire safety initiatives while preparing technical reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Five years minimum in property maintenance management.
• Must have HVAC/MVAC, Chiller Plant and Cooling Water Plant experience.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; good communication skills.
• Honesty, integrity, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage technical teams for maintenance of building systems and facilities.
• Monitor E&M facilities operation and liaise with contractors for Chiller Plant work.
• Support fire safety work and prepare technical reports for stakeholders.
• Supervise in-house staff and contractors to ensure timely, on-budget work.
• Prepare tender documents and evaluate contractor performance.
• Assist energy management and energy conservation initiatives.
• Prepare materials for owners and residents meetings; prepare appraisal reports.

Job description

• Assist to manage the technical teams in the residential, carpark properties to ensure efficient, reliable and cost-effective maintenance, repair and operating of building systems and facilities
• Closely monitor the operation of E&M facilities and liaise with contractors for the Chiller Plant work
• Assist Technical Manager to handle fire safety work
• Prepare technical reports/analysis for internal and external stakeholders
• Liaise with end users, manage contractors and supervise in-house technical staff and technicians to ensure repair and maintenance work are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with required quality standards and statutory requirements
• Prepare tender documents, conduct tender analysis/interview and monitor contractor’s work performance
• Assist to manage energy management of the properties and implement energy conservation initiatives to achieve Company’s sustainability directives
• Assistant to prepare materials for owners committee meetings and residents general meetings
• Prepare appraisal report for technical team staff

Requirements:

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in property maintenance management
• Maintenance experience in HVAC/MVAC, Chiller Plant and Cooling Water Plant is a must
• Honesty, high integrity and self-motivation are expected
• A good team player with excellent communication skills and well prepared to work under pressure
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
