The Hong Kong Country Club seeks an Assistant Sports & Recreation Manager to oversee daily operations across tennis, squash, basketball, health centre, pools, and activity spaces. You will supervise the staff, coordinate with engineering on safety, and help run community and member programs.

A Diploma or Degree in Sports Management with 3–5 years of supervisory experience is required. The role is 5-day, with weekend/holiday duty, and offers double pay, discretionary bonus, meals, and insurance.

Formación

• Diploma or Degree in Sports Management or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in sports, recreation, or club operations.
• Strong floor leadership and staff coaching capabilities.
• Ability to plan, coordinate with departments, and maintain safety and service standards.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily operations across all Sports & Recreation facilities.
• Conduct floor inspections and liaise with Engineering to resolve safety hazards.
• Guide, supervise, and mentor supervisory team; manage schedules and training.
• Support lease renewals and space allocation with coaches.
• Run community programs and maintain facility usage data.
• Plan and execute departmental events and develop new activities.
• Manage Pro-Shop inventory, pricing, and apparel program.
• Handle department administration: attendance, leave, overtime, purchases, logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Shift weekends/public holidays/peak periods.
