Job summary

Leadingnation, a European-owned food distributor, operates in Hong Kong with in-house multi-temperature warehousing and logistics. The role focuses on selling premium imported food to Western restaurants, hotels, caterers, private clubs, and related food services customers in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of sales experience in food services/distribution or hospitality.
• Experience selling to high-end restaurants, hotels, caterers, private clubs in Hong Kong.
• Strong understanding of food trends, sourcing, and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with chefs, procurement managers, F&B directors, and other contacts.
• Manage and develop existing accounts to meet sales and profitability targets.
• Identify new business opportunities with restaurants, hotels, caterers, and clubs.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand needs and present product solutions.
• Introduce new products and customised food solutions per customer requirements.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate terms; follow up on enquiries.
• Monitor orders, pricing, delivery, and service requirements.
• Provide feedback on product demand and market opportunities.
• Contribute to sales planning and account forecasting.
