Job summary

Aurecon Group in Hong Kong invites applications for a Civil/Geotechnical TCP-T3 role. You will join a team delivering Built Environment projects such as schools, data centres, and government works, applying your expertise to bring ideas to life.

You will supervise civil/structural/geotechnical works, coordinate with engineers, ensure compliance with local regulations, monitor progress, and maintain thorough site records. A strong command of English and Chinese is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical engineering required.
• Geotechnical top-up course would be an advantage.
• Confined Space certification would be an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years’ TCP-T3 experience (RSE/RGE) within last 8 years, with at least 1 year local experience.
• Good command of English and Chinese (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality supervision and site safety supervision of Civil/Structural/Geotechnical works (substructures, superstructures, temporary works, testing & commissioning).
• Assist Structural Engineers to resolve drawing conflicts.
• Ensure works comply with Buildings Ordinance, Regulations, Building Authority’s plan and contract specs.
• Monitor on-site work progress.
• Prepare reports and keep records of works carried out.
• Perform other contract management duties as designated.

What will you do?

In this position, you will join our Hong Kong Buildings business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of Built Environment projects such as schools, data centres, casinos and a variety of Government projects.

• Carry out quality supervision and site safety supervision of all Civil / Structural / Geotechnical works (including substructures, superstructures, associated temporary works and associated testing & commissioning) construction;
• Assist the Structural Engineers to resolve the conflict found amongst drawings;
• Ensure the works are complying with the Buildings Ordinance and Regulations, Building Authority’s approved plan and contract specification.
• Monitor the work progress on site;
• Prepare reports and keep records of works carried out; and
• Perform other duties on contract management as designated.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need:

• Degree holder in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical discipline;
• Candidates who have attended and passed specified geotechnical top-up course would be an advantage;
• Candidates who are Certified Worker for Confined Space would be an advantage;
• Minimum 2 years’ experience for TCP-T3 in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical engineering. The relevant experience must have been gained within the previous 8 years and at least 1 year must be local experience.
• Performing as TCP T3 in RSE and / or RGE stream;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
