Job summary

Tung Wah Group is seeking a capable Property Valuation Analyst to conduct valuations, market assessments and feasibility studies for the Group's investment properties. You will support more senior staff in market research, assist in reviewing development plans and prepare periodic revaluation reports.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree or Higher Diploma in Real Estate, Surveying or Estate Management with at least 1 year of valuation or related experience; strong negotiation skills and

Qualifications

• Associate Degree/Higher Diploma in Real Estate/Surveying/Estate Management or related discipline; at least 1 year of relevant experience in valuation, surveying or property development.
• Preferably technical competence and strong negotiation skills; good property market sense.

Responsibilities

• Conduct valuations and assessments of comparable sales, rental levels and market yields for the Group's property portfolio.
• Provide market research support and feasibility studies for superiors.
• Assist in reviewing development plans for investment properties and assess development potential.
• Evaluate and review market value and rental levels of investment properties; prepare periodic revaluation reports and portfolios for accounting.
• Update, analyze and report relevant market information for the Property Market Information Centre.
• Respond to user enquiries with professional insights on property development projects and land matters.
• Coordinate development projects with consultants and joint-venture partners.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job description

• Conduct valuations and assessments of comparable sales, rental levels and prevailing market yields of the Group's property portfolio;
• provide support to superiors in conducting market research and feasibility studies;
• assist in reviewing development plans for the Group's investment properties and assessing development potential;
• assist in evaluating and reviewing the market value and rental levels of the Group's investment properties, and preparing periodic revaluation reports and portfolios for accounting purposes;
• update, analyze and report relevant market information and news for the effective management of the Property Market Information Centre;
• provide support to superiors in responding to user enquiries by providing professional insights and advice on property development projects and land matters;
• assist in coordinating development projects with consultants and joint-venture partners; and
• perform any ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

• A recognized Associate Degree/Higher Diplomapreferably in Real Estate/Surveying/Estate Management or related discipline plus at least 1 year of relevant working experience in the field of valuation, surveying or property development; and
• preferably technical competence, good negotiation skills and strong property market sense.

The successful candidate will initially be offeredon contract terms with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
