Biocline Healthcare Services Limited in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Assistant Project Manager to coordinate builder works with the main contractor and specialists during pre-construction and construction phases.

You will assist in shop drawings, temporary designs, method statements, project schedules, and progress/financial reporting, while maintaining strong coordination with architects, clients, consultants, and authorities. English and Chinese communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Building Construction, Structural Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of on-the-job experience in contracting or consultancy work in fitting-out works or other engineering projects is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate all builder works and BS works with Main Contractor and sub-contractors/suppliers at pre-work and construction stages.
• Assist in coordination and preparation of shop/construction drawings.
• Prepare temporary work designs, method statements, project programs and payment and financial claims.

Key Responsibilities

As the leader for coordinating all builder works and associated BS works with the Main Contractor and Specialist sub-contractors/suppliers at the pre-work stage and construction stage.

Assisting in the coordination and preparation of shop/construction drawings.

Preparing temporary work designs, method statements, project programs and payment and financial claims.

In charge of regular site meetings with other project team members and facilitate communication with architects, clients, consultants, subcontractors/suppliers, and government authorities on technical matters.

Regularly inspect the quality of work and materials to ensure compliance with statutory and user requirements. On-site management and prepare site progress reports to ensure project success.

Assist in the preparation of subletting documents, tender submission and quotations.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Architecture, Building Construction, Structural Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of on-the-job experience in contracting or consultancy work in fitting-out works or other engineering projects is preferred.

Relevant experience in hospital, university, or laboratory projects is advantageous.

Proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience with BIM software such as Revit will be beneficial.

Experience in BS works coordination will be beneficial.

Strong coordination and interpersonal skills.

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

Candidates with less work experience may be considered for the Senior Project Engineer role.
