Job summary

The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas) is looking for a proactive professional to join their Project Control team. You will support all aspects of Quantity Surveying and contract administration for building management and renovation projects.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-minded professional to join our Project Control team. The successful candidate will support quantity surveying, contract administration and project control functions for building management, construction and office renovation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of pre-contract and post-contract Quantity Surveying functions including cost estimation, tender preparation, cost control, contract administration, progress payment, disputes handling and settlement of final accounts
• Support Project Control Manager in planning, implementing and monitoring multi-projects in a timely, cost effective and quality manner
• Coordinate day-to-day QS and site activities by liaising with user departments and contractors, ensuring alignment with project schedules
• Coordinate project activities with stakeholders and user departments to support smooth delivery and effective communication

About you

• Holder of a Higher Diploma or Degree in Building Studies / Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
• Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors membership is preferred
• Willing to learn and develop multi-disciplinary skills across building management, construction, and office renovation projects in both Hong Kong and PRC
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese; fluent Putonghua is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Project and AutoCAD
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Occasional travel to the PRC is required
