Job summary

Zurich Insurance Hong Kong seeks a proactive Life Insurance Product professional to support development and maintenance of propositions from market research through implementation and launch.

You will coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver customer-focused products, ensuring timely and compliant rollouts. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• University degree required in a related field.
• 3+ years in life insurance product development, marketing or propositions.
• Strong understanding of life insurance products and HK market.

Responsibilities

• Assist development and maintenance of life insurance products from research to launch.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis for product trends and needs.
• Prepare and review product materials including specifications, brochures, and training materials.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support timely rollouts and approvals.
• Support UAT and launch deliverables, tracking issues and resolutions.
• Maintain product documentation and respond to inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and enhancement of life insurance products, from market research and product ideation to implementation and launch


• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand product trends, customer needs and market developments


• Assist in preparing and reviewing product materials, including product specifications, brochures, sales and training materials, and customer communications


• Liaise with internal stakeholders and business partners to follow up on product development tasks and support the timely rollout of new products


• Support product implementation activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), issue follow-up and preparation of launch deliverables


• Assist in preparing product documentation and supporting materials for internal review and approval


• Support ongoing product maintenance, including updates to product materials and handling product-related enquiries


• Carry out product development activities in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements, internal guidelines and procedures
  

Job Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Actuarial Science, Marketing or a related discipline


• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the life insurance industry, preferably in product development, product marketing or product propositions


• Good understanding of life insurance products and the Hong Kong insurance market


• Good analytical skills and attention to details


• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders


• Proactive, well-organized and able to handle multiple tasks within agreed timelines


• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Cantonese; knowledge of Mandarin an advantage


• Strong curiosity about AI; knowledge in AI‑enabled tools is a plus


• Practical exposure on AI use cases related to insurance business context


• Understanding of how AI models and analytics are embedded into the insurance / life proposition workflow, process and to enhance productivity and decision‑making


• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint


• Candidates with less experience can be considered for other positions
