Job summary

BDO in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced audit professional to lead fieldwork for listed company audits (A+H, H shares) and listed financial institutions. You will plan and execute audit fieldwork, ensuring completion in line with firm policies and procedures, while supporting BDO's Global Vision.

We value a degree in accounting, a strong two-year assurance background in a sizable firm, and excellent project management and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or related discipline.
• Qualified accountant is preferred but not required.
• At least 2 years of relevant assurance experience with a sizable firm.
• Excellent project management skills and leadership qualities.
• Good teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (Putonghua useful).
• Willingness to travel to Mainland and other countries.

What you'll be doing

• The candidate will be involved in listed company audits, including A+H share, H share and also listed financial institutional companies

• Responsible for the planning and execution of audit fieldwork

• Conduct audit work and ensure fieldwork is executed and completed as planned and in accordance to the firm's policies and procedures

• Support and act towards the BDO Global Vision

• Be committed to act with the firm's core values and competency expectations

What you'll bring

• Degree holder, major in accounting or other related disciplines

• Qualified accountant is preferred but not a pre-requisite

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in assurance, gained with sizable accounting firm

• Excellent project management skills and outstanding leadership quality

• A good and effective team player

• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua

• Be passionate for providing exceptional quality service and striving for exceeding clients' expectations

• Travel to Mainland and other countries will be required
