Job summary

HKT is seeking an Assistant Manager / Senior Accountant to join the Finance team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on financial analysis, business partnering, and driving key transformation projects to support strategic growth and performance improvements.

You will prepare management reports, evaluate business cases, participate in budgeting and forecasting, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver insightful financial guidance and efficieny improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• CPA or actively pursuing a professional accounting qualification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports, presentations, dashboards, and performance analyses for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in evaluating business cases and strategic initiatives through financial analysis and modelling.
• Participate in financial due diligence and assessment processes for special projects.
• Act as key business partner and work closely with cross-business units by providing insights and recommendations to support business decisions and performance improvement.
• Participate in annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Assist in process improvement and finance transformation projects to enhance operational efficiency.
• Handle ad hoc assignments as required.

Your Role

Financial Analysis & Business Partnering Focus:

• Prepare monthly management reports, presentations, dashboards, and performance analyses for internal stakeholders
• Assist in evaluating business cases and strategic initiatives through financial analysis and modelling
• Participate in financial due diligence and assessment processes special projects
• Act as key business partner and work closely with cross-business units by providing insights and recommendations to support business decisions and performance improvement
• Participate in annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Assist in process improvement and finance transformation projects to enhance operational efficiency
• Handle ad hoc assignments as required

To Succeed in This Role

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines
• Qualified CPA or actively pursuing a professional accounting qualification
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, with audit experience is preferred
• Proficient in MS applications, advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Hands-on experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is preferred
• Self-motivated, independent and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong numerical sense with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical, presentation and problem-solving skills
