Job summary

Morgan McKinley Limited is representing a well-established bank in Hong Kong seeking an Assistant Manager, Operational Risk Management (Banking). The role focuses on developing and maintaining operational risk policies, and supporting Business Units on risk matters.

You will review incidents, assess risk across products and workflows, and implement Basel-compliant controls to meet internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with relevant experience in operational risk or internal audit in banking.
• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements for the banking industry.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operational risk policies for the bank.
• Advise and support the Business Unit on operational risk matters.
• Review and analyse operational incidents, assess risk level across products, services and workflows, and propose solutions to reduce risk.
• Execute required risk and control measures in line with Basel requirements to meet internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
