Job summary

Hong Kong Repertory Theatre Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager (Marketing and Development) to plan, oversee and execute marketing, fundraising and PR campaigns, and to collaborate with design houses and agencies on materials and media planning.

The role focuses on identifying funding opportunities, preparing applications and reports, developing sponsorship proposals, and maintaining relationships with sponsors while ensuring smooth delivery of campaigns.

Qualifications

• University degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of full-time experience in fundraising, event management or marketing.
• Arts sector experience is a plus.
• Strong English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua) skills.

Responsibilities

Assistant Manager (Marketing and Development)

Plan, oversee and execute the Company's marketing, fundraising and public relations campaigns

Support the production of promotional materials, working closely with design houses, advertising agencies and other printing production companies on budget and media planning, tasks coordination, quotation negotiation and job monitoring

Collaborate with internal teams to identify and pursue funding opportunities for existing and new initiatives and prepare applications, proposals and reports

Develop fundraising materials including sponsorship proposals and presentations

Develop and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, partners, patrons and supporters

Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure smooth delivery of fundraising and PR campaigns

Maintain the donation database and prepare related reports

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, Cultural Studies or a related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of full-time working experience in fundraising, event management or marketing; Experience in the arts sector will be an asset
• A passion for arts and culture; a good team player with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, initiative and creativity
• Able to work independently and under pressure while meeting tight deadlines and collaborating effectively within a team
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing; Well versed with design software, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and/or Canva
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
