Job summary

Chinachem is seeking a capable retail leasing professional in Hong Kong to support the section head and implement leasing strategies for assigned retail portfolios. You will manage lease negotiations, renewals, and tenancy administration, while fostering strong relationships with tenants and partners.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years’ experience in retail property leasing, strong market sense and a proactive, team-first mindset; proficiency in Chinese, English and Mandarin is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulating and implementing leasing strategies and action plans to meet KPIs.
• Negotiate leases and renewals; build relationships with tenants, clients and partners.
• Handle tenancy administration independently for assigned portfolios.
• Provide tenant services and liaison.
• Conduct market research and compile reports.
• Assist in budget planning and rental forecasts.
• Coordinate renovations and handovers for premises.
• Coordinate with functions on leasing and promotion activities.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

How you will make an impact:

The job holder is responsible for assisting the section head to execute retail leasing strategies.

• Assisting in formulating and implementing the set leasing strategies and action plans to meet the set KPIs for the assigned retail portfolios


• Lease negotiation and conclusion of new lettings / renewals / rent review, and sustaining good relationships with tenants, corporate clients, property agencies and business partners


• Handling leasing and tenancy administration independently for the assigned retail portfolios


• Providing quality tenant services, liaison, and tenancy administration


• Conducting market research, analyzing data and compiling various reports


• Assisting in budget planning, rental forecast and / or reports


• Handling and coordination on renovation and fit out works, takeover / handover of premises, and all the related tenancy matters


• Liaise and correlate with various functions on leasing and promotion activities and property management issues


• Performing ad‑hoc assignments as required from time to time

What we are looking for:

• Degree holder in Real Estate, Surveying, Business, Marketing or related disciplines.


• Minimum 4-6 years’ solid experience in handling retail property leasing, legal documents as well as dealing with reputable brands and property management people independently


• Self‑motivated, innovative and good interpersonal skills


• Willing to learn and team work advocate. Strong common sense and proactive


• Good PC skills e.g. MS Words, Excel and Powerpoint


• Good command of both spoken and written Chinese, English and Mandarin
