Job summary

Octopus Holdings Limited is seeking a Security Operations professional to monitor security events, respond to incidents, and support zero trust and access management initiatives. The role requires hands-on experience with SOC processes and a broad set of security technologies.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in CS or Cyber Security and 4+ years in IT security, including 2+ years in a SOC. On-site position in Hong Kong with attractive remuneration and career prospects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of work experience with at least 2 years in IT security.
• Hands-on SOC experience or equivalent security event monitoring and investigation.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily security operation tasks, review events/logs, diagnose and respond to incidents.
• Support security initiatives to ensure policy and standards compliance.
• Advise on security configurations for networks, OS, identity and privileged access.
• Manage vulnerability assessments and patching processes timely.
• Maintain Zero Trust Network Access platform for secure remote connectivity.
• Stay updated on cloud, mobile devices and related security challenges.
