Charterhouse Management Limited seeks an Assistant Housekeeper for Charterhouse Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. The role focuses on maintaining guest room and public area cleanliness and supervising floor service staff to ensure top service standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Higher Diploma or above with 6 years’ experience, including 3 in a supervisory capacity, and fluent Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Proficiency in PC use is expected. We offer a professional, interactive work environment.

Formación

• Higher Diploma or above is required.
• 6 years of relevant work experience with at least 3 years at supervisory level.
• Fluent Cantonese, Mandarin, English and basic computer knowledge.
• Initiative, positive, innovative and with good interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures and chemical handling.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for supervising the performance of floor service staff.
• Responsible for overall cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas to meet quality standards.
• Assist Housekeeping management in daily activities.
• Supervise daily work of Housekeeping staff ensuring efficiency and high quality.
• Oversee all areas of Housekeeping operations to ensure excellent service and cleanliness.
• Schedule routine inspections of all Housekeeping areas.
• Assist in stock control to ensure smooth operation of Housekeeping department.
• Assist in Housekeeping administration duties using computer and systems.
• Closely monitor the work performance of outside contractors.
• Conduct on the job training to the team to ensure delivery of consistent and high-quality service for guests

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above
• With 6-year of relevant work experience with at least 3-year at supervisory level, preferably in hotel industry.
• Fluent speaking of Cantonese, Mandarin, English and basic computer knowledge
• Initiative, positive, innovative, smart, helpful and with good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Good knowledge on Housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures and chemical handling.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, supervisory skills and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Proficient in PC Knowledge.
