Job summary

The Hong Kong and China Gas Co Ltd is seeking an Assistant Engineer/Engineer for Business Development in the restaurant sector. This role involves exploring opportunities, managing corporate accounts, and leveraging technical knowledge in gas installations to enhance business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a Higher Diploma in Engineering and at least 2 years of experience. Proficiency in both English and Chinese is essential, and having a valid Class 1 driving license is advantageous.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of work experience, experience in engineering or technical sales role is an advantage.
• Able to manage projects independently and work under pressure.
• Possess valid driving license of Class 1 is an advantage.

Job description

Assistant Engineer/ Engineer (Business Development – Restaurant)

Explore and capture the growing business in restaurant trade

Build and maintain relationships with corporate accounts

Keep up with technical expertise and know-hows for different gas installations and gas applications

Perform account management for restaurant accounts

Prepare analysis on market trends and competitors & reports

To explore opportunity in ESG & IOT system related to restaurant trade

Develop and implement strategics plans

The Person:

Higher Diploma or above in Engineering disciplines or equivalent

At least 2 years of work experience, experience in engineering or technical sales role is an advantage

Able to manage projects independently and work under pressure

Multi-tasking, creative, self-motivated and enthusiastic

Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage

Possess valid driving license of Class 1 is an advantage

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Engineer
