Job summary

WE CON LIMITED in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Engineer / Assistant Project Coordinator to support building projects from planning to completion. You will coordinate with consultants and sub-contractors, monitor field works and contract compliance, and help keep progress on schedule.

You will assist in coordinating progress, resolve cross-functional issues, and provide technical support for construction activities. Proficiency in English and Chinese is required; BIM knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year site experience in building construction; fresh graduates considered.
• Solid experience in site coordination, supervision and submissions.
• Knowledge of costing, contract, regulations and building operations.
• Good command of English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate building construction with consultants and sub-contractors.

Assistant Engineer / Assistant Project Coordinator

Coordinate building construction with consultants and sub-contractors;

Monitor field and contract work so as to ensure compliance with contracts requirement;

Assist in monitoring and coordinating progress of construction and ensure all of them are on schedule;

Resolving cross-functional issues at project level;

Liaise with subcontractors in expediting designs and relevant information;

Responsible for providing technical support for building projects;

Perform additional assignments and responsibilities as assumed or requested by supervision.

Requirements:

Higher Diploma, Associate Degree, Degree or above in Building/Civil/Structural disciplines;

Minimum 1 years site experience in building construction, fresh graduate will also be considered;

Solid experience in site coordination, supervision and submissions;

Knowledgeable with costing, contract, regulations and building operations;

Responsible and work with good team spirit;

Knowledge in BIM is advantage;

Proficient in PC application including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD;

Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
